The University of Bern believes that learning is a dynamic process that continues throughout every phase of life. With transfer-oriented offerings, the University makes it possible for several different target groups to engage in lifelong learning and gives them access to research-based knowledge.

The Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) is the service and competence center for lifelong learning at the University of Bern. It brings together the transfer-oriented offerings of continuing education, Children’s University, courses for high school students and Senior Citizens’ University under one roof and supports faculties, institutes and external partners with sound advice and tailor-made educational programs. As an interface between academia and practice, the LLC develops innovative learning formats, promotes interdisciplinary exchange, and strengthens the dialog between the University, business, and society.
